Team Fishing Scuba Dive Trips Professional Crew

Solo Scuba Adventure with Team Fishing

Looking for a personalized underwater experience that puts you front and center with marine life? This intimate scuba diving trip is designed for just one diver, giving you the full attention of our certified dive master and the freedom to explore at your own pace. Whether you're a nervous beginner wanting extra guidance or an experienced diver seeking a customized underwater tour, this solo dive delivers the kind of personal touch you won't find on crowded dive boats. Team Fishing brings their decades of water expertise to create a top-rated scuba experience that's all about you and the ocean.

Beneath the Surface

This isn't your typical cattle-boat diving where you're herded around with twenty other divers. You get the boat, the crew, and the dive site all to yourself. We'll meet you at the dock bright and early, usually around 8 AM when the water's calmest and visibility is at its peak. The boat ride out gives us time to chat about your comfort level, any specific marine life you're hoping to see, and adjust the dive plan accordingly. Since it's just you, we can spend more time at depths you're comfortable with and explore areas that match your interests. Want to focus on macro photography? We'll hunt for nudibranchs and seahorses. Prefer the bigger stuff? We know where the rays and grouper like to hang out. The beauty of a solo dive is flexibility – if you're loving a particular spot, we stay longer. If something's not clicking, we move on.

Dive Brief & Gear Info

All your gear is included and properly fitted before we even leave the dock. We use top-shelf equipment – think Scubapro regulators, well-maintained BCDs, and masks that actually seal properly. Your dive master will walk through a comprehensive briefing covering entry and exit points, hand signals, and what to do if you encounter any issues underwater. Since you're diving solo with a guide, we stick to the buddy system religiously. You'll never be more than arm's length from your dive master, and we keep constant visual contact throughout the dive. Most dives run between 45-60 minutes depending on air consumption and conditions. We typically target depths between 30-80 feet, though this gets adjusted based on your certification level and comfort zone. Safety stops are mandatory, and we always surface with at least 500 PSI in reserve.

Marine Life You'll See

The local waters host an impressive variety of marine species that'll keep your underwater camera busy. Grouper are the superstars here – these curious giants can reach up to 400 pounds and often approach divers for a closer look. They're most active during morning dives when they're hunting, and their bold personality makes them customer favorites. You'll spot them lurking around ledges and swim-throughs, often accompanied by schools of smaller fish looking for scraps. Caribbean reef sharks cruise through regularly, especially during summer months. These sleek predators are completely harmless to divers but deliver that heart-pumping moment when they glide past. They're typically 6-8 feet long and move with an effortless grace that's mesmerizing to watch. Southern stingrays bury themselves in sandy bottoms and can be spotted by their telltale eye bumps poking through the sand. During mating season in late spring, you might encounter groups of them in shallow areas. Sea turtles are the real crowd pleasers – both loggerheads and green turtles call these waters home. Loggerheads are more common in deeper water and can live over 50 years, while greens prefer shallower grass beds where they graze like underwater cows. Turtle encounters are magical because they're completely unbothered by divers and often allow close observation of their ancient, peaceful movements.

Plan Your Next Dive

This solo diving experience gives you something most divers never get – a completely personalized underwater adventure with world-class individual attention. No waiting for slower divers, no missing photo ops because the group moved on, and no settling for generic dive sites that don't match your interests. Our dive masters love working one-on-one because it lets them share the really good spots and insider knowledge that makes dives memorable. Whether you're building confidence as a newer diver or you're an old salt wanting to explore without the crowds, this trip delivers the kind of quality experience that keeps people coming back. The boats are booking up fast, especially during peak season, so don't wait around if you want to secure your spot. Give us a call and let's plan your perfect dive day.
